In former life times I had read tons of books, I had eaten them up so to speak, I had been gone within them, had been digged into these stories, these dreams … Then there was a break and it was a good one. Nowadays I’m in love with cookbooks, more than ever before because it’s just essential to our core of delicious Beingness, don’t you think?

It’s pleasure.

It’s delight.

It’s captivating.

It’s pure joy and bliss to go for tasting, smelling, touching, seeing, feeling all the goodness around you. And I just love the different life stories within all of these cookbooks I hold close to my heart. And of course these awesome photographs that go along with them. Can’t live without beautiful and touching pictures ever … and in the end, it’s all about the journey you take for yourself, isn’t it?

Let your emotions guide you

I have no idea what day of appreciation it might be within my journey ~ but guess what … It doesn’t matter anymore! I’m settled in, I’m coming home, I’m tuned in, tapped in and turned on to my gorgeous guidance system ~ my emotions. So simple as that. I just wanna feel good and I choose happy thoughts to feel good as often as I can. I wanna have fun. I wanna be happy. I wanna love life. I wanna be free. I wanna go for great goals. I wanna be me.

Abraham Hicks, A Morning Rampage:

This is a good morning. This is a really good morning. This is a new morning. This is a new day. This is a new vibrational point of attraction. This is a new beginning.’

‘This is me new into the world. This is me choosing my vibrations more deliberately. This is me, in this good morning, being aware of the way I am feeling. This is me being in touch with my emotions. This is me. A good morning.’

Expressing appreciation

[As you might know by now, I’m on my 365 Day Journey in Expressing Gratitude! Maybe you wanna join me?]

What I am grateful for today?

Day 10: I’ve finally understood the difference between appreciation and gratitude! There is a distinctive vibrational difference in using these two words: When someone is talking about something they’re grateful for in this moment usually they are speaking of some difficulty that they have overcome for which they are grateful but the difficulty is dominant in the vibration.

Think about this: I’m grateful that I no longer work there, I’m grateful that I’m no longer married to that person, I’m grateful that I’ve overcome this difficulty …

And how sounds this?

When you use the word appreciation, it’s not: I appreciate not living with that person anymore ~ it’s usually: I’m so appreciative of the life I’m living.

You get the distinction? It’s a big distinction. ~ Abraham Hicks

Therefore I change the label of my challenge in Expressing Gratitude into Expressing Appreciation ~ and I like it a lot better! Woohoo!

Expressing gratitude ~ day by day

[As you might know by now, I’m on my 365 Day Journey in Expressing Gratitude! Maybe you wanna join me?]

I have to admit, I’m kind on a rollercoaster the last few days … The ending of a love relationship isn’t the delicious piece of pie you’re looking for I assume, furthermore if you haven’t seen it coming ~ or if you’ve pretended not to see it coming, who knows ~ and what makes the difference? Anyway, maybe there is a difference in approaching to that sort of split up ~ it doesn’t matter now. What am I thankful for the last three days in sorting things and feelings out?

Day 7 to Day 9: I’m thankful for the love, support and understanding of my children. I’m thankful for getting clear in mind and spirit. I’m thankful for precious memories. I’m thankful for insights in some old habits and patterns I do not need any longer. I’m thankful for clearing up. I’m thankful for trusting in life and in the always remaining support of the Universe.

And I’m thankful for this sort of teaching by Abraham Hicks which I highly recommend to any of you in sort of riding on a rollercoaster by yourself: The powerful Placemat Process! It’s one of the most powerful processes of deliberate creation as Judee Pouncey put it:

Jerry and Esther call it the Place Mat process because they started using it as they traveled, eating in restaurants a lot, simply writing on the back of a place mat.

Using the back of your Place Mat (or any other piece of paper), draw a “T” dividing the paper into two sections, writing “ME” on the top of the left side and “UNIVERSE” on the top of the right side. On the left side (your side), write those things that you are ready and willing to take action on now–those things that you really want or feel inspired to do (not anything you think you “should” do or have any “obligation” to do, for there is resistance already built into those).

On your side write things such as:

Look for more things to appreciate.

Be fully present in the moment.

Clean out my closet.

Write three thank you letters.

Achieve enlightenment (smile!).

On the right side (Universe’s side), write anything you want to have, do, or be in your life that you are not ready to take action on (or that you don’t know how to do or think you don’t have the resources to do. Then allow the Universe, with its large and competent staff, to handle those things for you.

Your list can be very short and the Universe’s list can be as long as you want it to be. The best part of writing something on the Universe’s side of the Place Mat is that there is no follow up for you to do.

You don’t have to keep telling the Universe what you want. You really only need to tell the Universe once. The advantage of continuing to think or talk or write about what you want is that you get clearer about it. The more you focus your attention on it, the more you fine tune it.

As you say “I want it,” the Universe begins it, and then you say “I would like it to be this way,” and the Universe modifies that, and then you say “A little bit of this would be nice,” and the Universe adds that . . . .

Once you are clear about what you want, once you have zeroed in on it, it is on the way to you. It is done! The manifestation of it will probably follow later, because there is most often enough resistance so that you don’t have it instantly.

Remember that there is this constant steady Stream of Well-being (Pure Positive Energy) flowing to each of us, and in the moment you say “I prefer” or “I like” or “I appreciate”–in that moment, the heavens literally part for you and the Nonphysical Energies (you can call them “Fairies of theUniverse”)–in that instant–begin orchestrating the manifestation of your desire–in that very instant!

Faster than you can speak it, the Energy begins to flow, and circumstances and events, in an orchestration you cannot begin to imagine, begin to take place in order to give you exactly what you want–and if it were not for your resistance, it would come really fast.

The Universe will never fail you. The Universe will always give you what you have asked for.

The question is: How soon will you allow it? How many things will you use as your excuse to have resistance that does not allow it? How long are you going to hang on to those habits of thought that don’t let it in?

The good news is, if ever you are not letting it in, you’ve got a signal that’s telling you. That’s what negative emotion is. Negative emotion means that in the moment you are vibrating in a place where you can’t let it in–you are resisting.

When you are looking at the problem, you’re resistant to a solution because when you’re looking at the problem, you’re vibrating there. So the Energy of solution cannot come to you.

Sometimes people ask Abraham, “Shouldn’t I face reality?” Abraham says, “No! Never face reality!! Never face reality unless it is perfect in every way!”

All really is very well with you. Your job is just to relax and acknowledge that. Have fun with all of this. Don’t make too much of all of it. Don’t act like it’s life or death, because there isn’t any death.

It’s about Well-being that you’re eking out or Well-being that you’re allowing to flow rambunctiously! Well-being abounds!

Sometimes you have to step back from the circumstances or conditions of your moment in order to recognize that.

Lighten up–have fun with it!

Expressing gratitude ~ My personal challenge throughout one year

For some time now I’m so inspired by some great people who are expressing their gratitude for daily life wonders each and every day … Therefore I’ve started a few days ago my personal challenge ~ journey for at least 1 whole year: Expressing gratitude to life, to myself, to others, to the world … and I wanna share this with you! Maybe you like to join me on the ride?

Expressing Gratitude ~ and because I’m a photographer by heart I’ve picked my Sunday Poppies as guidance pic for the ride. They symbolize love, power, enlightment, joy, fun, happiness, wonder, and so much more for me …

Enjoy DAY 5 and DAY 6 and all the other days of expressing gratitude!

Day 5: What I am grateful for today? I’m going through a rough periode in my personal life ~ and I just don’t get on this well-known train of pain, anger and fear. No, I don’t do it and I will not do it for sure. Why I’m so sure about that? Well, it’s like broadcasting … We are vibrational beings and we constantly are on air. It’s my decision if I am broadcasting an aweful and horrible emotional drama or if I just switch the transmission and broadcasting channel to feel any better and to enjoy another television soap so to speak. It’s my decision only ~ and I’m grateful for this powerful insight!

Day 6: By sipping coffee and strolling around photographs, I’ve found this one and I suddenly realized I wanna marry this year! Hippie me … Woohoo! It’s such a strong and good feeling ~ and I’m going to manifest this. So simple as that.

Day 4: You have to find a way of thinking the thought that gives you relief before the things around you can change. You have to begin telling a new story. You have to tell the story the way you want it to be before the story of your life will actualise around the story the way you want it to be. ~ Abraham Hicks

I’m grateful for so many teachings of Abraham, today especially for this one: You have to begin telling a new story. My goodness, how simple and how effective is that? Such an essential and uplifting truth … You have to tell it your loved ones, your friends, your family, … all the people you care about ~ but first of all you have to tell it yourself!

You are the creator of your reality, always. How are you doing this? It’s so simple: You are creating your reality with your thoughts and your emotional way of baking the cake so to speak. Just be aware of your thinking and let you be guided by the way how you feel ~ let you be guided by your emotions. They show you your way in baking the tasty cake of your life, always.

Day 3: 5 Things to do before you get out of bed:
1. Express gratitude
2. Set your intentions for the day
3. Take 5 long deep breaths in and out
4. Smile for no reason ~ just flex the muscles
5. Forgive yourself for yesterday’s mistakes

Day 2: Give yourself the love you seek ~ and the Universe will match it. ~ Abraham Hicks

Day 1: I’m grateful for the help I could finally accept with decluttering old stuff I don’t need anymore! Decluttering and clearing out makes one free at all levels (physically, mentally, spiritual and emotional) ~ Woohoo! And then, nearly out of a sudden, new things, events, people, whatsoever … can enter your life with effortless ease … New beginnings, new possibilites, new miracles, new perspectives, new relationships, new friendships, new life can evolve and unfold right before your eyes …

Stay focused, stay centered, stay calm

Stay focused, stay centered, stay calm …

How can you do that?

Whatever may crosses your way will lead you to a special kind of reaction because every action requires a re ~ action as you know for sure. The easiest way of discovering how you are reacting to what sort of action so ever is looking at your own sensitive indicators ~ your emotions:

What is your own business?
Your mood is your own business.
It’s your only business.
Alignment to Source is your only business.
Carrying on with who you really are is your only business.
Meeting everyone with the fullness of who you are in this moment is your only business. ~ Abraham Hicks

Whatever makes you feel uneasy, uncomfortable and simply unwell in any kind of situation is a sign for you to simply change your way of putting your entire attention from

I don’t want this …

… to the most important question in this very moment:

What DO I want?

Shifting your awareness to the things you do want, to the feelings of being in alignment with the things you do love and you do care about will help you to overcome any unpleasant feeling, any unhappy situation, or what so ever in an instant. You simply have to practise this over and over again and you will see …

But the most important factor in practising on staying focused, staying centered, and staying calm is the first step in taking actions on your very own! Now that you consciously know how you can easily overcome any sort of unpleasant feelings at all, you have control over your reactions and your thoughts. At this point you’re welcoming happiness and joy into your daily life step by step. Just give it a try ~ it’s worth it. [Trust me.]

Mystical stillness

Mystical stillness

Serbian performance artist Marina Abramovic is one of a kind … Among many performances in her long career focusing and pioneering a new notion of identity by bringing in the participation of observers, focusing on “confronting pain, blood, and physical limits of the body”, she did a stunning piece at the New Yorker Museum of Modern Art in 2010: The Artist Is Present. During three months she was sitting at a small table at the Museum’s atrium, motionless and silent, inviting the visitors to sit with her, members of the public can share in her presence by sitting in the empty chair opposite her and engaging in silent eye contact for as long as they want, or as long as they can.

What happened there between them in the silence?

Many of them, sitting opposite the artist, started to cry, sometimes Abramovic herself did the same. It always was a silent dialogue between two individuals, a quiet exchange full of vibrations and emotions which raised at personal “surface” at some point because we just are not used to it and are far from allowing it in our busy daily life.

Australian art writer Prudence Gibson had the same experience in durational, seated eye-contact engagements in June 2015:

Abramovic is right. The durational, seated eye-contact engagement really is hell. But it’s also revealing and emotional.

I was led to a seat opposite another art writer where we sat together for more than 30 minutes, eyes locked.

My thoughts ranged from her excellent cheekbones, to her habit of widening her eyes. I thought of her mother and then my mother and my mothering and the ancestry of eyes. I thought of stories and tattoos, of writing tales inscribed in the earth and on the skin. I thought of the rumble of trains and the heat in bellies, of love and sensuality, of strange lives to witness, of pain and sorrow and madness, of energetic atmospheres.

We are vibrational beings, no matter what ~ therefore mystical stillness isn’t so mystical at all and far from silent in the end … Or as Abramovic put it herself: Long durational work is the key to experience. Our lives are so fast. Art must slow us down. These exercises are based on repetition. Something small, a ritual, eventually becomes a universe. ~ Just be still and listen.
